Our Team
Eng. Georges Bou-Botros
General Manager
Mr. Bou-Botros holds a Master’s degree in Water Resources and Environmental Engineering from the American University of Beirut. He has past experience working with international consultants and agencies on small to large-scale infrastructure projects in the MENA region.
His expertise includes integrated solid waste management, coastal design and ports modeling, water, wastewater and infrastructure design, as well as conducting detailed environmental studies.
He also has extensive experience in Public Procurement and Project/Contract Management, successfully managing public contracts and projects funded by different international funds and donors.
Jad Maalouf
Environmental Specialist
Mr. Maalouf holds an MSc. In Environmental Management from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut. He has extensive experience in conducting environmental assessments and studies, and has been involved in a number of such projects for industrial, residential and commercial developments. Mr. Maalouf is also experienced in integrated waste management studies and characterization surveys, waste market studies, site investigation projects, coastal projects and several other environmental fields.
More recently, Mr. Maalouf was the acting head of the Environment Program at the Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH) Section at the UNICEF Lebanon Country Office. His key role was to establish a harmonized relationship between UNICEF and acting public agencies and Ministries in relating fields.
Lara Al-Tawil
Environmental Scientist
Mrs. Al-Tawil holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences with concentration on Environmental Health, from the American University of Beirut (AUB). She has experience working with the Lebanese Petroleum Administration on the occupational H&S hazards from working on oilrigs. She has also been part of the UNDP’s Climate Change Unit on projects concerning air pollution and climate resilience.
She has put her skills and knowledge at work for conducting desk reviews and studies while working with public officials, as well as governmental, non-governmental, and international organizations.
She is currently also an instructor at the Lebanese American University, delivering several environmental courses, related to Sustainable Energy and Environmental Health.
Eng. Massaad Ghadieh
Civil and Site Engineer
Mr. Ghadieh holds an Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Balamand, with emphasis on earthquake design considerations. He has extensive experience in conducting and developing engineering designs for residential and commercial buildings and developments. Mr. Ghadieh has also worked on the design and supervision of infrastructure projects such as the construction of new roads, water courses and water distribution networks.
Most recently, Mr. Ghadieh is working on several projects as acting Environmental and OHS officer. His key role is to supervise the implementation of EMPs on construction and infrastructure projects in Lebanon.
